Evergreen first in Kilkenny sports Blogs?

Well done to Evergreen Football Club on setting up their own club blog. Personally, I'd like to see it broken up into individual posts with comments related to each post rather than having to scroll all the way through for relevant info. The blog was brought to my attention by Peter Hennebry who was highlighting Martin Smith's offering on the club's difficulty with gaining planning permission for planned club improvements, and how this flies in the face of some councillors' opinions on keeping young people active and as a result drug-free. I'll be blogging this matter further at my own blog, but well done agin to the Evergreeners on this blog.

Calling all Kilkenny Bloggers

Hi, it's Seán Ó hArgáin here in Kilkenny city. I've decided to get this 'umbrella' project up and running. What we're at here is to provide a space for letting people know who's blogging in the Marble City and the Noreside/Suirside and Barrowside county. Please drop by and let us know the contents and latest news from your blog. This is my own initiative and I hope that a sense of community will be created amongst us blogging addicts. The following is a list of those I've tracked down so far, starting with my own.

http://ohargain.blogspot.com
This is a mainly political blog, focussing on my work as a local councillor and Deputy Mayor of the city.

Another political blog, the space of my colleague Cllr. Michael O' Brien, Labour Party General Election candidate.

The first half of a husband and wife blogging team from Larchfield. Keith has an eclecti. c mix of blogs also, focussing on his involvement in the fledgling National Centre for Creativity. Again you'll find Keith's full list at his home blog.

Interesting looking chaaracter called Mickeyjoe, residing in Kilkenny but a Canadian native apparently. Describes himself as 'an outcast genius and de facto spiritual leader'. Promise to read more Mickeyjoe!

Just one of dozens of blogs and web presences from the Bould Bernie Goldbach, who though now resident in Tipp land is virtually an honorary Kilkennyman.
